There aren’t many 8 string concerts available in the ukulele world, so here at Noah we thought we’d like to change that! It’s quite common to see 8 string tenors, but for some reason 8 String concerts are very hard to find. I’ve never understood why – with a concert scale 8 string, you still get that lovely, jangly sound which works well both strummed and finger-picked. The Noah 8 String Concert has an attractive slotted headstock, and a strap button fitted. It is fitted with octave strings for G and C and unison strings for E and A.

This lovely little jewel is the perfect choice if you like the rich sound of an eight string (usually at least tenor scale) ukulele but prefer the smaller body of a concert size model. It’s a top quality instrument that combines marvellous looks with brilliant sound. I really love it and enjoy every moment I get the chance to play it – or at least to have a look at it 😉

This is a fabulous ukulele. It sounds amazing, so rich and full. And the wood on the sides and back just glows. I’ve owned this for a few months, and keep picking it up, it’s so lovely to play. And no problem transitioning from 4-string to 8-string. Highly recommended – I’d tried a friend’s 8-string by another brand first, but the Noah is on another level of sound and craftsmanship.

I absolutely love this ukulele! I already owned a different brand of 8-string tenor, but prefer the smaller size of the concert, so hoped this would be perfect for me… and it is! So well-made, comfortable to hold and play and produces es a rich, rounded sound that is somehow both mellow and jangly at the same time. It’s great for all strumming techniques, and works well for ‘picky bits’ too – although a whole song’s-worth of finger picking is probably better done on a 4-string. Hence, I feel a Noah purchase no. 2 coming on…
