I’d been after a new Concert ukulele for a while now, but despite trying a few out I couldn’t seem to find anything that I could get on with. A friend suggested Noah to me and after speaking to Matt I decided to go ahead and order a Rosewood / Spruce model. It arrived yesterday and I have to say it is worth every penny – and then some! It has a wonderful tone to it, looks incredible and is an absolute delight to play. Highly recommended 🙂

Matt paid the extra postage required to get my Rosewood concert to me the next day (Christmas Eve) It is a complete delight, the finish is a credit to the company, the tone is sweet with excellent volume. I bought it because I wanted something better than the Japanese soprano Uke that I have had for 40 years, it was cheap, but well made and is still in excellent condition but probably worth little more than i paid for it, I know without doubt that this ‘Noah’ Uke will be worth much more than I paid for it in another 40 years. Thanks Matt, and good luck with the company, although with products of this quality luck doesn’t really enter into the equation.

The uke arrived today and first impressions were all extremely good. It is a beautiful piece of workmanship. It simply oozes “hand crafted”. The subtle indications of the luthiers hand are there to see and that places it way above mass produced? ukes. I’ve now got some seriously jealous Mates !!
I do lots of repairs and rebuilds to stringed instruments as a service to my musician friends so I know from experience when I see good luthier work. I cannot fault this instrument, it is simply gorgeous.
Only played borrowed instruments so far to see if I could live with a uke, but the Noah spruce/rosewood sounds miles better than all I have tried before. Some of those were top-end items too. Without knowing sophisticated chords yet I found myself immediately playing melodic patterns right up and down the neck. It rings like a sweet bell everywhere and seduces the fingers.
I collect and play some tasty bits of kit, classic Gibson, Fender and others. The Noah will not embarrass itself in such company.

This is my third Ukulele from Matt and I am very happy with it. I have a Mahogany Tenor with pick-up, a 2019 Spruce and Rosewood Concert and now this beautiful 2020 version of the Spruce and Rosewood Concert with it’s wonderful Abalone edging. I bought this one mainly for finger picking and have fitted a set of Living Waters fluorocarbon strings with a low G. It sounds very sweet. I can’t recommend Noah Ukuleles enough. Great quality at a greta price. Many thanks Matt.

Over the moon with this uke. Sounds incredible and feels so nice to play. Struggling to put it down and get on with work most days 🙁
Dealing with Matt was top notch too. Went out of his way to get it sent out and delivered super quickly. Couldn’t ask for a better experience there.
I’m already eyeing up a new Soprano from here as my next upgrade ????

I received the Rosewood/Spruce Concert for my husband and could not be happier. It’s a gorgeous instrument – much prettier IRL than in the pictures and the sound is fabulous.

Every so often we stumble across something which makes you go wow, now that is worth having. It just so happened that it was the Concert Ukulele which created the wow. It is so beautiful in the way it is made and is completely unique through being hand made. Forget the symmetrical perfection of the factory ukulele; this uke is made to be loved especially by any new owner. It looks quirky, sounds melodious, booms out the notes when strummed and whispers sweet melodies when harmoniously playing arpeggios and etudes. Even though I have made my own ukuleles for 6 years, this ukulele is just wonderful and worth the investment. I changed the strings to Fermont Blackline low G strings and it worked exceptionally well. You can even see where the tools for hand crafting this instrument have left their marks and this makes it more rustic. So next, this adventure of the Noah Concert ukulele will allow it to take its place in the ukulele circle and play many melodies for the entertainment of others. Then, it has to be the Super Tenor…

Matt was wondful to work with and shipping from the UK to USA only took two-days. As a beginner, I did not need this beautiful, hand-crafted instrument. None the less, I’m thrilled with it. It has a bright full sound, and I have to be careful with the volume as it can project!

What a, little beauty! The rosewood spruce concert is my 5th Noah & I must say it is a fantastic uke. The fit & finish are superb. The sound is excellent. Bright & clear with bags of sustain. Apart from anything else its an extremely pretty little instrument punching well above its weight in term of price. These ukes are so way above the mass produced instruments out there it’s a no brainer! Go on treat yourself you will not be disapointed. Matt is also great guy to deal with. Thoroughly recommended!

I’m truly thrilled with my Rosewood-Spruce Tenor, it’s not only heaps of fun, but it has redefined what this instrument is for me.
I spent months visiting music shops and trying different models, even returned a few, because I just couldn’t shake the feeling of them all sounding too plastic-toy-ish to me, but this Noah Ukulele is worlds apart. Firstly, it’s a treat to look at, so beautifully crafted and with a rich/deep –true music instrument– sound.
Truly impressive. What a delight. No regrets. Would do it again.
Thanks to Matt for the personalised support and guidance.

I’m fairly new to the ukulele. I’m old and arthritic, the fingers don’t move so well. Having decided I needed a ukulele and not having a music shop nearby where I could look & handle & try a Uke I bought one from a well known online megastore.
For the first time ever I was able to produce a musical sound. It was amazing. It was empowering.
Also, it was really fairly limited – that’s me being kind.
I investigated and found the Barry Maz gotaukuleke review site. I learned a little.
Christmas was looming and I decided I needed an instrument that would be correctly set up, that would’nt be made of laminates or some kind of plastic.
I found Noah. (Eat your heart out Disney silly reference to the film ‘finding Nemo’)
Mr Cohen is very approachable. He responded to my questions very quickly, very informatively, and very politely.
I ordered a Rosewood & Spruce Tenor ukulele.
It arrived about a fortnight ago, my early Christmas present to myself.
It’s beautiful.
It’s set up and even I can feel and appreciate the difference.
The sound is fantastic.
It holds the tuning well.
It’s everything that I was led to expect, and more.
The only ‘con’ is a result of this being a hand made instrument. Some minor cosmetic imperfections.
Considering the price this is an amazing instrument and fantastic value.
