The Super Tenor was a new, exciting addition to the Noah range in October 2021. It has a standard tenor scale neck measuring 17 inches, but has a larger baritone-sized body. For anyone who is looking for the biggest sound you can get from a GCEA instrument, the Super Tenor could be the perfect ukulele for you.
Like all Noah instruments, it is made using all solid woods with Mahogany for the back and sides paired with a Spruce top. It has an attractive open frame headstock and a pin bridge. The finish is gloss, except on the neck which is satin.
It was reviewed by Barry Maz on Got A Ukulele and achieved 9.2 / 10 which is the highest overall score of any Noah instrument. In summarising his review, Barry wrote:
” I’ve been reviewing Noah ukuleles since they first appeared on the market and they are another brand that simply listen and get better with each new iteration. When it comes to design, build quality and tone this one just combines them all in the right way for my tastes. I’m struggling to find major fault with things here and think I just discovered my absolute favourite Noah yet. I also think this is a steal of a price for what you are getting considering other brands at this price point. I’d happily have this in my arsenal and it comes very highly recommended”.
Despite only arriving in late October 2021, the Super Tenor was sold out by mid-November and since then I’ve had a lot of enquiries asking when it will be back in stock. Good news – we have been making more and they should be available from the beginning of May.
For anyone who would like to reserve one of these, I am currently taking pre orders. For a pre order, I ask for a 10% deposit and then the remaining amount to be paid just before the ukulele is sent out.

As always, stay tuned to the blog and Noah Ukuleles Social Media for updates. There is a new model being added to the Noah range in April – more to come on that soon 🙂
